Thanks to everyone who lended a helping hand Saturday and Monday to help complete phase one of building the chum and coho fish ladder system.

Trout Unlimited installed a 22 step sandbag fish ladder under Miller Bay Road NE to pass adult chum salmon under the road. TU installed an eight step fish ladder to pass salmon over the Tribe’s intake dam to the educational salmon incubation and rearing facility. And we installed a five step fish ladder to get salmon thru the Columbia Street 6 diameter culvert into the upper 4.5 miles of Cowling Creek spawning and rearing habitat for the first time in over 100 years.
