About

Our Kitsap-Olympic Peninsulas Chapter of Trout Unlimited strives to stay consistent and true in all we do to the TU National mission of conserving, protecting, restoring, and sustaining our local cold water fisheries, both now and for many generations to come!  Because of our proximity to salmon and steelhead watersheds, as well as to native searun cutthroat trout in both fresh and salt water, our focus is primarily on the health of these species.  We also strive to educate our local youth and the general public on salmonid lifecycles, the fragile ecosystems upon which salmon, steelhead, cutthroat, and other important species depend, the joys of fly fishing, sustainable fishing practices (such as catch and release), and why it is so critical that we all join together (fly/gear/commercial/recreational/tribal) to work towards reviving and protecting these precious resources we all share and are so passionate about.

We all have a responsibility to help give back...join our team to help make a difference.  It's also a ton of fun!  Contact Julie Kelner at jl.kelner@gmail.com for questions and information about membership opportunities.
