SALMON VIEWING EVENT WITH BI CUB SCOUT PACK 547

Here is a picture of Dave Boyce, TU officer, showing a couple of Cub Scouts from Pack 547 a small aquatic insect netted from the gravel on Cowling Creek.  The scouts particpated in identifying small micro-invertebrates as part of a Cowling Creek watershed interpretive and educational tour.  They learned about the creek, they viewed chum salmon and, at the end, they assisted in reconditioning the trail system there.
