Tell Congress To Protect Clean Water

Headwater streams are among the most important bodies of water for trout and salmon. They provide habitat for spawning and juvenile fish, and are essential to maintaining the water quality of the larger downstream waters they feed. After being protected for the first 30 years of the Clean Water Act, some of these streams lost protections after a series of Supreme Court cases. Recently, the Environmental Protection Agency and Army Corps of Engineers proposed a new rule that would restore protections to many of these headwaters.

Despite the need for clear protections for these waters, many in Congress are seeking to derail this rule.

Please take time to tell your members of Congress that America's sportsmen and women strongly support protecting our headwaters.
